Sleeping Beauty Castle Model

Sleeping Beauty Castle Model

This makes the little girl in me (okay, and the adult one too) sooo happy. You can view this model in the opera house on Main Street U.S.A. I don't collect any specific Disney toys, but if I were going to buy something, it would be a model of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. And maybe the electrical parade.

And apparently, they used to be widely available from Robert Olszewski.

  1. That is sweet. Have you ever seen Colleen Moore's castle? Or the miniature castle at Windsor? I'm too tired to go find links now but let me know if you want to see them and I'll google. You'd love them. The one at Windsor is amazing.

  2. I haven't heard of either of them until now. I quickly found Colleen Moore's fairy castle, and now I will be happily sucked into looking at the photos of it for an hour. So cute and elegant!

  3. Nice to see this model! Great blog! I went to Disneyland for the first time last year and had so much fun; I felt like a kid again. Oh, and the Colleen Moore fairy castle - yes, I recommend it too; it is in Chicago where I'm from. I just mentioned it on my blog post today. Cheers, Tom

  4. Thanks Tom, glad you're stopping by. I adore my trips to Disneyland. My little escape from this wacky world. And look at all the cute stuff I get to check out.

I really hope to see that fairy castle one day. Somehow, I have not visited Chicago...yet.
